Capstone Project

This literature review looks into how artificial intelligence (AI) can change higher education. It focuses on how AI could help first-generation Hispanic college students at a university in rural Texas that serves Hispanics and is close to the border with Mexico.

Personalized learning, intelligent tutoring systems, automated evaluation, and other uses and effects of AI in higher education are talked about in a number of research papers that make up the literature review. It looks at both the pros and cons, such as the pros being more student participation, success, and achievement, and the cons being privacy and moral concerns.

Without replacing instructors, the conclusion describes how AI can enhance education by assisting with instruction and tasks such as literature research and grading. It then asks how artificial intelligence can help first-generation Hispanic students at a remote university near the Texas-Mexico border.
